Taking a beautiful footpath that departs from the Almazorre village, we find the flour mill, moved by hydraulic power, with two independent rooms, the flour mill and the oil mill.
In the left bank of the river Vero there is the mill that belonged to Pardina House and was constructed in 1846, the date that appears in the door. It is told in the village that it was built with the savings of an emigrant returned from America, an “Indian”.
In the mill we can find the area dedicated to the cereal in the left wing of the building, under which the “cárcavos” are opened, that is, the tunnels through which the water flowed with a big pressure to move the wheels of the mill.
The most interesting area is the correspondent to the oil mill. It is bigger than the cereal zone and it is still possible to observe all the facilities and elements used in the process to obtain the oil.
All these elements can be seen inside the Almazorre mill.
Close to the mill there is a ditch from which the necessary water was taken; sometimes was obtained also from the river.
If we pay attention, we see that facing the mill there still remains a small part of the bridge used to overcome the river and too the remains of a footbridge.
In the mill there is the olives Winch and in the vicinity we find a restored tile kiln.
